Don't even think about it. I saw fabulous canopies made out of fiberglass, and I assumed that they had been erected by a skilled joiner and roofer. In fact they were bought "OFF THE SHELF " and erected by the homeowner using nothing but a drill, plugs ,and screws. Hav'nt a clue where they were bought.

it really depends on the porch it's self, if you already have a floor then you can buy your fabric an sew by hand a washer on the corners an then place to hooks on the side of the house. Then on the other end do the same with the washers an get you either 2 2x2 long enough for the height an put them in the ground or use PVC pipes or bamboo, it's easy an then you can wash your fabric
