okay, here goes....I name cars all the time
my dad's 76 GMC - Old Blue
My neighbors white Chevy Astro Van - The Marshmallow
My neighbors Gold Chevy Station wagon (old) - The Twinkie
My sister's Camry - Cammie
My husband's Purple Kia (when we got married, but no longer) - Barney
My friend's UGLY red and black suburban (growing up) - "The Burban" (because it truly was)
My friends dad's blue toyota pickup (like 1980's) - the blueberry
I'm sure there's more, but those are the ones I can think of right now :)
About my car that was unique (I didn't name it amazingly enough) it was a 1989 Toyota Carolla, and it was very "special" it was my high school car. The trunk leaked when it rained (ruined a couple books this way) The after market CD player that had been put in it was one you could remove the face plate, and in the winter time (where we lived it got to 30 below ore more sometimes) if you didn't take the face plate off and keep it in the house (where it was warm) overnight, the volume wouldn't adjust, and you couldn't turn it off. You had to press the gas pedal twice (prime) it before even attempting to start it. If you didn't want to get honked at in traffic, you turned the a/c off when trying to get started or it took forever to actually "go". And my favorite part....truly....NO power steering! I got buff in those days, just from driving! My friends hated to drive my car! I miss it!

"Blue" in the younger years.
"Battle Damage Blue" 10 years later. She is a Chevy Lumina and she runs really good after 10 years but she's got so many dings, dents and scratches on the paint. Otherwise she's been the best car I have ever owned.

My first car was a Buick...diesel. In the winter especially, it wouldn't get up hills and would moved VERY slowly..It finally became, Captain Power, for some reason. My friends and I used to joke about it, because it was so sad...

Being a mom with 3 kids I finally broke down and purchased a white Olds Silhouette mini van. My family loves the space. It's called the White Beast and she is awesome!

My first car was a huge, ugly 1970's Buick that I nicknamed "The Woodtick". Now I have a sporty little Toyota I call "Viggo" (as in Mortenson), and I call my truck "Jesse James".
