Does Hollywood exploit the suffering of others and capitalize on the suffering of others? Is that ethical?

I'm going to go see Tony Jaa's new movie even though I saw it months ago on DVD.
Everything seems to be "unethical" these days. It wouldn't be fair to say that only Hollywood exploits and capitalizes on the suffering of others. If you watch the news, pay attention to ads and marketing strategies, free market/trade, etc., then we're all guilty.
