the problem is a week or two after I do it, I get several abscesses down there. It's a big problem because they hurt, they're uncomfortable and gross! I wanna know how to prevent them from forming in the first place.

I would guess that the store bought wax you are using is just like most of the other store bought items shown on commercials, they just don't work the way they are supposed to. I would suggest next time get it professionally done, I do, and never had that problem. At the spas, its not embarrassing and it's not as uncommon as you might think. They are really professional, clean, and know what they are doing. Not very expensive, and last longer. As far as your abscesses now, try and use some antibiotic cream or long warm baths. Until then, lay off the home waxing jobs!

If you're not doing this, you need to disinfect before hand and then use a special cleansing cream afterwards as the pores are open and then might get infected.

You should be able to get these over any pharmacy counter.

try changing your wax there is one for sensitive skin even if u don't have sensitive skin u should use it on your bikini area and face area if that doesn't work right after waxing put on hydro-cortisone cream on the area

Seems painful. Maybe you should go to the doctor and ask them. They might be able to give you an ointment.
