Well sweetie, honestly you can't really do anything about getting her out your mind, but you can keep your self entertained and really busy, sports, gym, hang with friends, or another good way is by meeting someone else which is always harder then most people saying it...lol sorry that's about it, at some point your going to start forgetting or just call her and talk to her over the phone doesn't mean you can't still be friends and talk, that will always make you feel a little better...

It's obvious you don't want to forget about her but you do need balance in your life. Take pleasure from the smallest of things that you do, the taste of a good cup of coffee, the sound of an excellent piece of music, anything which you should concentrate on. You don't have to forget her but you do need to calm your mind and find a place in there for her where she'll be happy.

Take the mask off. If you were friends, why do you want to stop the memories? If she truly was a friend then go ahead and grieve her loss. Sure she is still living, but you will not see her that often. That is a loss. Grieve her moving away and not being able to see her, but celebrate your memories with her.

For one you are not depressed you are just feeling low at the moment. You have lost a friend. It could be worse though remeber that!
Write to your freind as he/she will be feeling the same and a letter is lovley to get through the post. You proberly have email and MSN but written letters and waking up to find one delivered is lovley and it shows you care and miss them.
You will get over it, but it will take time.

she only left yesterday so its natural to feel blue now,
the weekend is coming so go out and enjoy yourself and see how you feel come monday if you WANT to stop thinking about her the best thing is to keep really busy and avoid places you used to hang out together for a little while until the hurt dies down
but ask yourself do you want to? maybe not do you have to forget her could you guys not just keep in touch?

I try doing this a thousand times a day. The only thing that helps me is watching t.v. or thinking about someone else. Good luck and I say good day.

Just step back into reality. Tell yourself the facts. Constantly remind yourself that she wasn't everything, and look into a different future. Good luck, buddy.
