I heard he just got arrested either today or yesterday...Can anyone tell me why?

He went to Mexico to track down a person suspected of rape, Andrew Luster, heir to a cosmetics fortune. He successfully tracked down Luster ahead of other officials who were also looking for Luster. It seems that he may not have followed all of the rules when doing this. He was charged in Mexico and posted bail. He did not follow through on his court case and the Mexicans appealed to the U.S. to arrest him and return him to Mexico.
It's odd that it is so easy for law enforcement to grab people who are trying to better society and make a misstep, but it is so difficult for law enforcement to grab people like Andrew Luster.

He was arrested for kidnapping in the Andrew Luster case, bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico. The 3 of them bonded out and never showed for their court appearance, kind of like...well... just like every single one of the crackheads he picks up on his show! It's funny he thought everyone had to show for court except him.
Karma will get you every time!! LOL
And he wasn't arrested by the Mexican police, they issued warrants for all 3 of them and then requested extradition by the US. The US federal marshal service arrested them. Totally by the book.

I think it's because he went to Mexico to track someone down, but its against Mexican Law to do that... so he was arrested in Hawaii by Mexican Police.
I didnt know they could do that!?!

Ok, what makes me really ticked off is the fact that all these criminals head to Mexico to escape US law. How is it that we can't go THERE to get our bad guys yet they want help coming here to get one they think is bad but didn't do anything in my book except catch an evil man.

he did not have a license to arrest people in mexico and he did arrest people there

he arrested some guy in mexico...and in mexico bounty hunting is illegal.
