What is the most common T shirt size and pants size for a guy with that weight with a medium frame.

I'm 160lbs and 6'1'' with a slight athletic build. I usually wear size M t-shirts that seems to fit well. Most of my pants are size 32/32.

It would depend on how tall you are.
To some people, Medium isn't that big, and to others it may be really short, or really tall.
You pretty much just described my dad and my brother, so I'd personally say a Large.
My dad is 5 foot 9, weighs 175.
He wears a large.
My brother is only an inch taller and weighs the same.
My boyfriend fits into that, too.
He wears a large.
and so do all of my friend's boyfriends, pretty much.

My fiancee is that size, he wears a large most times and a 32-33 pant size

I'm 165 lbs and 6'0". Generally I buy large t-shirts to get the length although they tend to be baggy. Pants (jeans) 32 waist / 31 or 32 inseam, hope this helps.
