For food, its OK provided the animals do not suffer..eg, i eat free range chickens but i hate the idea of factory farming any livestock!
If the Animal is a danger to man... eg, a tiger in India
is old and cannot hunt normal prey so starts killing woman and children washing in the local river....This happens a lot in the south of India even today... you have to either kill them with a rifle or hit them with a tranc. dart then give them a lethal injection.
If the animal is capable of saving the life of a man, woman or child from either illness or injury that is life threatening its OK... I DO NOT AGREE WITH NEEDLESS TESTING TO GET BETTER EYE SHADOW OR A BETTER ANTI DANDRUFF WHATEVER!
With regards humans putting themselves in the path of dangerous animals that they know are to be found in that area at that time of year etc .... If a man is dumb enough to put himself in the way of a adult grizzly bear when he knows there are bears in the local area and that there is a danger... LET THE BEAR'S EAT HIM !!! the only reason you are there with a rifle in the first place is to hunt... it was your choice to hunt in a location with a bear population... if you don't want to meet a bear ,hunt somewhere else!!!!!!
That covers that.

I do not mourn the death of any animal that dies fulfilling its purpose. Some animals were put here to serve as food for others, including humans. I do not begrudge one who uses the whole (or majority) of the animal. I have friends who hunt and fish, and I see nothing wrong with it, as they eat what they kill.
I also hold nothing against someone that kills an animal in self-defense (on the other hand, if you were molesting the animal in the first place, you probably deserve whatever you get).
I do not believe that an animal should be killed simply for sport or for its fur. While it is legal to use animals in cosmetic testing, I don't believe that all test are conducted ethically, and the industry should be more regulated than it is.

Well my sons brother was killed when a stray dog came into their yard and ripped his throat out it was a day after his 8 birthday 2 years ago.I would say when an animal kills another human and is deemed vicious then they should be killed to protect the human race. It is not ilegal to use animals for cosmetic experiments but I personally will not use any makeup that has been tested on animals. I also wont wear fur becauce i think its just wrong.

My dogs are an extention of my family. I personally beleive it is wrong on so many different levels to hurt animals. I am not judging you but please take a step back and look at the whole situation before making an decions to hurt an animal. They are so innocent and it just seems so wrong to cause them any type of pain for personal gain.
The only time I would agree with killing an animal is if they were in pain.
I am not sure on the legal aspects of it all.

killing of animals is justified only when you killed that for your self defence. like when you are attacked by a tiger, you will have to kill it or chase it away so that you can save yourself.
in some countries it is legal while in some it is not legal.

I definitely don't feel animals should be used for medical experimentation. That's what felons and prisoners of war are for. If a medicine's effectiveness and safety are in question we should either test them on captive humans or deliver them untested to the public (either way, we'll know in short order if there's a problem).

Leather, food, fur coats, ok for medical testing(unless someone is willing to pass a law that the scientists can use inmates)... God put them here for our use. Not to abuse them, to kill them without tourture... My ex husband did testing on Rats and eggs, for a medical company. He didn't think he was doing a dis-service by trying to find ways to heal and help the sick. He wasn't some crazy person who tourtured the rats, he just did what he had to do to find out if the medicine was working or not. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
