I just finished reading "I am Charlotte Simmons" by Tom Wolfe and loved it.?

Any suggestions for a similar book - set in either college or high school?

Virgins, but I can't remember the author's name. It's my girlfirend's favourite book and I quite enjoyed it. Another good one of the genere is Lives of Girls and Women by Alice Munro. These are smaller coming of age tales about women, and dated and lack TW's keen eye for reporting, but both very good novels of the genre.
