The question "what is the meaning of life?" means different things to different people. The vagueness of the query is inherent in the word "meaning", which opens the question to many interpretations, such as: "What is the origin of life?", "What is the nature of life (and of the universe in which we live)?", "What is the significance of life?", "What is valuable in life?", and "What is the purpose of, or in, (one's) life?". These questions have resulted in a wide range of competing answers and arguments, from scientific theories, to philosophical, theological, and spiritual explanations.

Life is this: we were created in God's image for His purpose and pleasure. The reason it doesn't make sense is we live in a sin filled world. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. The punishment for sin is death and there are wordly punishments we suffer as well. For instance if you commit adultery that is a sin and we suffer here because our family will be torn apart but we will be punished for eternity for our sin as well. Even if we think a sin in our heart (i.e. wish we could kill someone or have sex with someone else's wife) it is the same as committing the sin itself. No matter what we do or how hard we try, we cannot get away from our sin nature. But there is good news. If you confess with your lips that Jesus died for our sins and is resurrected from the dead in order to pay for our sins and repent of your sinful ways then you will be saved! It is truly a gift from our Father who loves us more than we can fathom. The next step is to join a bible believing church in order to grow spiritually. Don't be fooled by the world about what life is... Life is temporary, but we will spend eternity somewhere, do you know where you will spend it? If you want to learn more, email me (cornelljr2002@yahoo.com) and I will be happy to help. I was just like you once, asking, seeking and searching. The word Chirstian to me was equal to ignorant, but if you are willing to search and ask God to come into your heart, he will change you from the inside and you will begin to see things anew.

Deep, and yet moronic. An interesting paradox. I will quote Pink Floyd:
"Life is a short warm moment, and Death is a long, cold rest. You get the chance to try, in the twinkling of an eye, for 80 years with luck or even less."

You ignored 2: lifestyles, AND WHY? God made you simply by fact He loves you. you have any such component called 'purpose', simply by fact of this you're unique, particular. That makes you 'particular', particular to not me, who cares approximately me, yet particular to the single that created you--God. So, having coming to this end it may do you lots good, to hunt His will to your lifestyles, and stay it to the merely right of your capacity. good success.

LIFE IS A CHAIN OF EXPERIENCES.
THE OTHER THINGS COME WHICH ARE A PART OF LIFE AND YOUR "FATE"
YOUR "FATE" IS AS PER YOUR PREVIOUS BIRTH AS A HUMAN BEING-FOR GOOD THINGS YOU DID YOU GET GOOD THINGS AND FOR ANY PAINFULL THINGS YOU DID YOU GET PAIN.
YOU SEE THIS NOW:
THE RICH---HOW?
THE POOR-HOW?
THE SICK---HOW?
THE PAIN----HOW?
