No big dramatic closures, just a little whisper of valediction - and even that, only IF there is time. ... And back to the substances of the Universe we go. ... But, for the time being at least, those substances of the Universe seem to be practically immortal - and as you know, given enough time "evolution" tends to quickly whip them back up - somewhere in the vast expanse of the Universe - into animated organic forms. Déjà vu? ... And the cycle of Universal Rebirth will probably continue, until such time as the Absolute Nothing finally gets tired of having been left out of the equation! ....lol

P.S. At least you may take comfort in the fact (while you remain a human substance) that you are NOT alone in this. ... Hey, maybe Espinoza knew what he was talking about, after all.

Nobody knows for sure, but I believe we just sort of fade to black and that's it! I have never seen any evidence to the contrary and as for me, that sounds like a good way to go.

I have seen evidence to support my beliefs. Brains have been studied at the time of death and it is basically just like a computer shutting down.

That is why we MUST enjoy the life we have here and not waste it waiting for a better life in some mystical "heaven" or "nirvana" or whatever. Life goes way too fast so I tell you young people, please live your life to the absolute fullest because you will be old before you even realize it!!

Screw that! I'm not going. I got a plan and it's going to work. All the rest of you are going to go. But not me. Well, for a minor consideration I will let a few of you stay with me.

Isn't it better to burn out than to fade away?

The end of what? The end of existence or the end of life? If you're dead then what does it really matter? You're dead.
