Can insomnia be helped using acupuncture? What questions should be asked to be sure that you are going to a reputable acupuncturist?

All symptoms come from unbalance energy in your body, according to chinese medical treatment. Accupunture can be used as energy unblocker therapy.
1.You can see if there are much patient or not.
2. you can ask receptionist wether doctor is available, or just his assistance.
3. They usually hang a diploma on the wall ( not only one diploma), and you can see what field is specialized. And when start to begin.
4. usually 5 years is reputable enough.
5. Having registration to goverment. And extended registration.
6. When you see much name of practioner, But only one is available. you'd better not see him. That clinic is not reputable.

Absolutely! There is a reason that you are an insomniac, and an acu can probably get to the bottom of that.
I would look for suggestions from other acupuncturists. I called around and interviewed mine, then finally got a great one. Good luck, I hope that you sleep well!

In addition to Joeng's suggestions, I would also check with your local health food store or chiropractor to see if there's one in particular they recommend. Word can travel fast. Your medical doctor, if you have one, may also know of an acupuncturist. I go to one that was referred by a friend. She works out of her home and studied under a chiropractor for her internship. Sometimes a big, fancy office with lots of certificates doesn't mean as much as a personal referral.

dont think so.. since the Acupuncturist cant do a treament when you are getting ready for bed at night
