Do you believe that Nancy was wrong in the way she handled the interview with Melinda Duckett. Did her hard-hitting style drive this young woman to suicide?

Or do you believe that Duckett was guilty of her son's abduction and possible murder all along and that Grace was only getting too close to the truth.

You must explain your answer.

I most certainly "do not" believe Nancy was wrong in the handling of her interview.

I do believe that the simple questions that Nancy asked Melinda Duckett about where she was and what stores did she go in etc... was right to the point and I think that Duckett was hiding something to not answer those "simple straight out questions". It was also the way Duckett answered in her responses on a defensive way gave me a feeling of guilt of knowing more than she was saying. Nancy Grace want trying to get a confession out of her, jsut answeres as to what the timeline was leading up to the kidnapping. I think if Melinda Duckett wasnt happy with sharing with the media like she said, then why did she agree to do this interview in the first place, and with Nancy who wants the truth. We all know Nancy is good at what she does and gets right to the point.

I strongly feel Duckett was not telling the whole story and knew more than she was saying to everyone and possibly could not handle her own part in it anymore and committed suicide. Nancy Grace should not be blamed in any way for this one. Nancy only wants to get tot he truth and find this child. I think she handled it just fine.

Thanks for asking and letting me share!

I admire Nancy Grace for not changing who she is. She asks hard questions and demands answers. If Melinda Duckett wasn't prepared to answer these questions she certainly picked the wrong show to go on. I don't know how any mother could take her own life if the life of her child was in question. I think she knew what happened to her son.

Nancy grace should be called Nancy graceless. She doesn't even except that she did anything wrong. she said and i quote
I do not feel that our show is to blame for what happened to Melinda Duckett. this is from the site http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,...

She always has been a total witch but take out the w and add a b.
she hammers on anyone and everyone.Who is she to pass judgment on anything, so what she was a prosecutor , who cares and how many times does our justice system screw up, like lets take for instance the O.J. Simpson trial, that was a total circus, and they screwed that up. No she had nothing do do with that case, but it just goes to show you the systemic problems that is our united states judicial system.

Who the heck is Nancy Grace? Even more important, who the flip is Melinda Duckett?

I think Grace made Duckett realized that by her questions that it would be a matter of time before everyone would know what exactly happened to her son, and how she was involved in it.

I only have antenna TV, so I've never seen her on her cable show. I enjoy when she comes on The View to talk about current cases. But, I happened to see her new syndicated show Swift Justice. OMG. She's awful. And as I said in answer to another question, I don't normally comment on people's looks, but that hairdo is from what year, 1962? I couldn't stand the way she came down on people and it seemed like she made snap judgments instead of hearing both sides of the story. I hope it doesn't last long, because it's the worst "judge" show I've ever seen. I won't make the mistake of watching it again.

It wasn't Ms. Grace's job to extract a confession from Ms. Duckett. She was way out of line.

I can't really blame Nancy Grace but the interview triggered the suicide. She was guilty and knew where her son was or what happened to him.

She wasn't doing anything wrong.
The woman must have seen her Nancy Grace's style of reporting, but agreed to be on the show anyway.
I think she killed herself b/c she most likely killed her son.

even the woman's former husband said in interviews nancy wasn't to blame, and i have to agree. her lack of emotion and dodgy answers leads one to believe she knew alot more than she let on about her son's disappearance. it's an absolute shame
