Hi.
I'm going to have a dress tailor-made, and I want it to be red in colour. It's for prom/homecoming event.

What do you think is a style or cut suitable for a dress that is knee-length in red, and yet looks youthful, great on a skinny, boyish figure?

Thanks.

Any dress looks good in red! it's classic like black is classic. :)
what you should focus on instead is what looks good for a skinny boyish figure.
A halter looks nice on a skinny boyishfigure, as long as your shoulders are not too wide, if they are you should pick a kind of sleave.
A sash around the waist can also give the appearance of curves.
I think for a thin figure the most classic would be a strapless number with a pretty sash accent tied on a natural waist. Very classic looking!

Hmm, I'm thinking Roland Mouret's galaxy dress. Have you seen that before? Try searching it on Yahoo or Google images. It'd look very flattering on a boyish figure because it creates an hourglass silhouette.

If you don't want something that figure-hugging, try a drop-waist 20's style dress. Also good on a boyish figure.

U can get it tightened around the waist and flowy after that ..
An asymmetrical hem wud look great .. And have a horizontal neckline .. with noodle straps .. That should suit u ..
