During the summertime the wind doesn't really blow much but during the cooler seasons the wind is constantly blowing.Why is that?

I think if blows plenty much during the summer, however it isn't uncomfortable so we do not pay attention to it.

That said, cold air is heavier than warn air so it falls faster thus slides down the curvature of the earth.

perhaps where you are you are, the Doldrums are over you in the summer... the Inter-Tropical Convergence as it's called technically. But in the winter you are in the path of the flow of depressions round the world.

perhaps its the wind that making it cooler and not blow because its cool ;-) Think hot rice puddings - what do you do to cool it?
