It's called homework HELP, not "get all your homework answers from somebody else". If you need HELP, you need to be specific about where you're stuck. HELP does not equal ANSWER.

There's a difference between helping someone figure something out for themselves and spoon feeding answers. The former is learning, the latter is cheating.

There's also a difference between just asking for the answer, and saying "here's the answer I have, but I don't think it's right, could someone help me figure out where I'm going wrong?"

Agree - help is fine, just getting someone to give you the answers is not. I suppose I may be referring to more of a math problem situation than any kind of training or computer funtions though

In response to "Marie"'s answer: You and the asker are referring to the same thing - though possibly unbeknownst to you. You say you've learned a lot from people helping you. That's HELP. If someone had just flat out given you the answers you would not be able to claim you've learned a damn thing.

because homework help is more often than not the complete working out of the sum with the answer to make the understand the working out from A to Z with a view to help them learn the tricks of simplification as well

Why do you care?

Are you part of the Homework Help police?

For instance, someone needed help printing PowerPoint slides, 6 per page. I walked her through the clicks. She didn't know how to do it. I helped her do it. There's nothing wrong with that.

If you don't like that people give away answers, why are you logged into YAHOO! ANSWERS???

You need to mind your business. I have learned a lot from people helping me. Do you feel you need to put people down to feel better about your self? What is your deal?????

I agree with you....but I wouldn't get yourself down by worrying about it. You'll always get lazy people who'll take advantage.
