Where would they bury the survivors, Germany, Spain or France? Any ideas?

You don't bury survivors. But the survivors will eventually die,so bury them then in Germany.

If they survived, they do not get buried. In the real world, if a plane crashed on a border, one of the countries would give the jurisdiction to the other to issue the death certificate.

I would bury the survivors in France, just so that when they dug themselves back up they would be so angry they would rampage and tear down the Eiffel Tower! Sweet!
