I have to keep changing the time on my computer because it always jumps ahead 5 minutes or so. Does anyone know why this may be happening?

Don't have a clue. What are you comparing the time on your computer with?
Open your Control panel , go to Date and time click on Internet time, Put a check in the box, and pick your time server from the menu and click Apply. Your computer will always have the right time.

Computer clocks are not accurate. You can go to Greenwich Mean Time website or U.S. Naval Observatory website for accurate time. They also have websites that can sychronize your computer clock with accurate atomic clocks. Also on some of these websites you can purchase atomic synchronized clocks and watches that sychronize time with a radio signal and you will always have the right time. Cell phones sometimes have a service that synchronizes them to an atomic clock but costs a fee of some sort for this synchronization service. You can always reset your computer clock from time to time but they usually go out of sync.
