When my baby girl was almost 3 months this happened to her. She started putting everything she could get her hands on in her mouth and rubbed her gums. It could be teething, but my child is now 6 months and no teeth yet.

Babies can start teething right when they are born, believe it or not. Now baby might not get his first tooth until he is 8 months but he can teeth up until then quite frequently. Teething means the teeth underneath the gums will start to make their way up then decide to go all the way down again, that is what hurts the baby. Please do not give your baby orajel it will only toughen the gums making it harder for the tooth to come up and making it more painful for baby. you can give your baby Tylenol up to 4 times a day but no more than 3 days. freeze some teethers in the freezer that will be good too. Probably. Our son teethed for a long time before they finally started coming in. By the time our son was 6 months old he already had six teeth. He got them 2 at a time.

This is what you need to do. Go out and but a small bottle of Jack Daniels Whisky. If you rub some on his gums it will numb them up a little. I know what you are thinking! What, whisky is she crazy- I used it with both of my children and all is fine. Or if you would rather take a more "safer" approach there are some tablets called Humphrey's. Check into not sure if they sell them outside of florida or not.

It could be, but it could also be colic. Sometimes rubbing gums will calm a baby even if they aren't teething. It makes them feel like there is something in their mouth. IT could also be teething. Have you tried giving him tylenol? If it is teething, giving him tylenol (infant kind of course) will ease the pain. If it's colic, tylenol won't help, but then you will have your answer!

Sure it can. He may be teething, but it may take a while for the teeth to actually come out. Try giving him baby Oragel, but check with his doctor if it's ok since he is under 4 months. Good luck.

Sounds like it. Try giving him teething toys, teething rings, a wet cloths that he can chew on. Get him some orajel to numb his gums, or u can give him tylenol for the pain if its bad.

Yep. My son really liked it when i gave him a cool washcloth to nibble on. It was very soothing and I didn't have to worry about him biting on one of those teethers with water in them and it breaking. Also, but put some JD whiskey on your finger and rub it on his gums, not only does it numb the gums, it makes him sleepy and both you and baby can get a good night's sleep. Good luck
