I seriously need some help!!!! A few months ago, I had to wipe my lap top (I had so many problems it wouldn't even turn on anymore)
I did save all my music to one of those memory stick things....but now I don't know how to download them back to my Itunes libray. On top of all of this, I know that if I plug in my Ipod nano, it will allso be wiped (this has happened before, but my music was in the trash bin, don't ask). And on top of that (yeah, this is pathetic I know) when I try to open up the Itunes music store, it says some stupid thing about errors and it closes out!!!!!
so this is what I need to know
A) how do I down laod my music to my itunes libray from a memory stick
B)how in the world to I fix the Itunes music store so I can buy some new songs (I have a very long list built up after 3/4 months of not being able to buy anything!!!!)
any help will be extremly welcomed!!!!!

I figure your iPod is set to automatically update the songs on your machine to that on iPod.

1. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del on machine and go to Task Manager.
2. In the processes tab, select iTunesHelper and iPodService.exe and hit End Process button.

This way, when you plug your iPod in, iTunes will not start automatically and thus your music will not be erased.

To pull out music from your iPod, you can download ephPod from http://www.ephpod.com/download.shtml and extract music from iPod to local machine.

I understand that you have to load music from your memory sticks back to your PC. Put the stick in the slot/USB and a drive will appear in Windows Explorer. You can simply copy/paste music files or drag-drop.

After all this done, I suggest you reinstall iTunes. A new version of iTunes has come out. Since you have not specified the *stupid* error, that's the best I can suggest. :-)

Hope it helps.

A- get the current version of Itunes, install it
B- put all the music from your memory stick on your hard, and then use the option that says import folders
C- the hook up your ipod nano....

Then download the music you want
