You don't want to buy mail order. Why not just patronize a nursery in your area with a good reputation? They will carry stock appropriate for your climate, and will stand behind it.

You can also look in your local Yellow Pages and in your local newspaper ads.

Look for "nurseries" or "plant nurseries". In the end, there is no substitute for visiting the nurseries and talking to the staff. They will advise you as to the best trees for your area and conditions. They will educate you concerning their care. You can also see and select the particular trees you want.
