Allergins are filtered with in cabin filters. Smoke smell can be reduced by ozone air purifiers that plug into the cigar lighter.

Replacing the filter will help a great deal. But some smoke smell will have gone into the seats and carpeting so febreezing them or cleaning them will help. The filter itself will also of taken the smoke smell into it which is why they will need to be replaced.

This happened on my buddies car and he had to replace the air filters to get the smell to go away.

The acc cabin filter is a filter placed on the in cabin air intake, used to filter out dust and other airborne particulates.

Changing the cabin air filter should definately help the problem. They are pretty cheap and easy to replace. In my Acura, the filters were right behind the glove box - took less than 5 minutes to switch them out!
