1) (2x-3)/(3x+4)
2) ((3x+4)(x-5))/((2x-3)(2x+3))
1) * 2) = ((2x-4)(x-5))/((2x-3)(2x+3))

1st part) Factor top and bottom to get (2x - 3)(x + 1)/(3x + 4)(x + 1)
Then simply. I'm not going to do that for you. What can you cross out on top and bottom. By the way, x cannot equal -1 nor can it equal -4/3 because then the bottom part would equal 0 and nothing can be divided by 0.
2nd part) Factor top and bottom to get (3x+4)(x-5)/(2x+3)(2x-3)
3rd part) Multiply the sum of both by what? I think you mean multiply the two together. Look at what you can cross out on top and bottom when multiplying.
Good luck :)))

I don't want to do this math for you. But what you need to do is factor those squares out and then terms will cancel.
For the first part: (2x^2-x-3)/(3x^2+7x+4)=
[(2x-3)(x+1)]/[(3x+4)(x+1)]
The (x+1)s cancel each other out and you are left with:
(2x^2-x-3)/(3x^2+7x+4)=(2x-3)/(3x+4)

The third part (which looks to me like the actual problem) makes no sense. "Sum" means you're adding parts 1&2 together. What are you then supposed to be multiplying?
As I see it, you're not meant to do anything in parts 1&2. The equations look like they're already in the cleanest possible form.

The BEST thing you can do is ask your teacher and fellow classmates to help you learn how to do this step by step. Unfortunately, I'm sure somebody will just spoon feed you the answer, but you'll never learn anything that way.
The whole idea of math problems like this is to help develop your problem solving abilities.
Here's a hint to help you get started -- when you multiply numbers or variables with exponents, what do you do with the exponents?...
