I'm shopping for a new phone for Alltel service, because my reception is terrible and my phone is old. I am thinking about the Kyocera Stobe. Are there other camera phones have great reception? What about the Kyocera KX12 (ok, not a camera phone, but looks rugged, & I'm clumsy lol). I guess I really want to know which phone has the best reception.

I just got the strobe, LOVE IT! I live in the middle of freakin nowhere and get excellent reception. Five bars all the time. :) My bf just got the Kyocera Candid, and does'nt get as good reception as I do. :)

The reception on that KX12 is going to be superior to the strobe. However, you trade bluetooth, a camera, and that cool texting keyboard for an extra half a bar of reception.
If you text, go with the strobe.
