Or at least most of the time? Or do you change it up frequently? Why?
I'm the kind of girl who doesn't do the same look twice. I do my makeup based on my mood, or inspiration, or just a simple whim. For example, yesterday my makeup was very natural and elegant. The day before that, I went dramatic. Today I was in a dark mood and my makeup's almost goth-like. I've always liked change. And I've always had fun with makeup. I go back and forth between using it as enhancement only and as a tool for creative expression.

Swordmaster, if you have something to contribute, by all means... I addressed it to the Ladies in the forum because we're usually the ones to be wearing makeup regularly.

As much as I LOVE makeup, I tend to keep it the same. I feel like I don't have enough time in the mornings to mix it up. It's alot easier for me to know exactly what Im reaching for next in my makeup bag.
Sometimes on the weekends, if I have extra time to get ready, I'll change it up a bit.
My problem is I find an eyeshadow or lipgloss or blush I really like and stick to it...forgetting I've got a lot of great stuff down at the bottom of my bag that I've forgotten all about!
That's it...you gave me the inspiration to change it up from now on! Thanks!

Of course I think that it is so freeing to not wear makeup.Haha I think it that leaving the house without makeup actually boots my confidence and I hate when Im wearing makeup and have to check up on it all the time to see if it has smeared or something. So to answer your question yes I am(and I think every girl should be) confident about going natural outside my home.

I enjoy makeup, but don't cake it on. I am a skin cleanser nut, so I do that religiously. Then I use a few dabs of foundation, some eyeshadow, mascara and a little gloss. It looks very natural and great. Plus, my skin is super healthy...no wrinkles, dry spots or age spots. I get compliments on my look. For evening wear or a special occasion, I add some more color and make it more dramatic, but for everyday, I stick with neutrals. Works for me.

For work I always go for the natural look, since I work at a Law firm. But if I am going out at night, I'll play up my eyes. I think it depends on the type of situation I am in, if I am going out with the in-laws-to-be, I usually do a more toned down dramatic eye, as opposed to a girls night out or a date with my fiance then it is bold.

I recently became an Avon Representative and before that i had just started using makeup. thinking about it now i usually only switched between two colors.. but as i starting buying Avon makeup i noticed more of a variety in my collection. so like you i were it as my mood comes.. and also i bought a mood lipstick the other day. its dark blue and so far used it twice. both times it turned pink.... kinda cool.....

Sounds like fun, I've never had the time or been daring enough to do that, except for on certain occaisions. Usually I keep it a little more natural, but sometimes I glam it up and other times I just go without.

I change it based on my mood, where I am going and what I am wearing. If I am going out dancing and wearing a long formal dress I will do elegant, at work I wear less and make it buisnesslike.

I tend to do my make-up the same during the week. However, if I go out at night I tend to put on darker colors. On the weekend I also tend to spend a bit more time applying my make-up. It really depends on the situation, how and what kind of make-up to use.

I definitely switch up my make-up on a near daily basis. As you said, I find cosmetics as a form of expression.
Generally, for school, I try to keep it somewhat subdued (while still be creative and interesting), by using different color palettes and such. On weekends, however, I take advantage of the freedom and incorporate different shadows, liners, mascaras and so forth.

For the most part my make-up ritual is the same Monday - Friday. But when I'm going out on the weekends I darken it up. I like to keep it same and then mix it up for special occasions so it's really noticeable.
