DIF wallpaper remover, had an old house with layer upon layer of paper, mix with warm water and let sit for a few minutes and take a scraper and it will come right off. Sometimes you may have to spray it twice. Works great!!!!!

You need a scoring tool to score the paper with and then spray it down with the hottest possible tap water and let it sit for about 15 minutes then spray again and wait another 15 minutes then use a nylon scraper and scrap it off. Should come off easily.

Ive taken off alot of paper, the cheapest was to score it without damaging the dry wall, and spray on hot water or windex! The best way, not the cheapest, is rent a steamer! I bought one, since I love it some much...use it twice, and it paid for itself over renting one!

Have you been to any stores that sell wallpaper supplies? They should have a pair of tool that would really help. One is a small hand-held device that you run over the wall paper to make lots of perferations in it. Then you run a hand-held steamer over the wallpaper. It should peel off easier.
