I'm trying to decide on whether to do just an MPA or a joint degree, but I'm torn to decide if it's worth it to get both degrees. What career options does the joint law degree open up?

A joint MPA/JD is for people who wish to get administrative or consulting jobs that require specialized legal knowledge. Most often, these jobs are with the government (federal or state), or sometimes, with public-service oriented NGOs.

Lots of lawyers in Washington, DC and in various state capitals working for government agencies have this joint degree. Some lawyers who work in the administration of non-profit NGOs in the US and abroad also have this joint degree.

in case you dont sense mushy with the idea, then dont do it. I agree, youre in basic terms courting for 2 months and he already needs to combine funds?? Thats weird and wonderful to me because your courting is so new. tell him youre not waiting for that step and perhaps you would possibly want to be extra prepared in case you 2 were extra commited/in touch/after a lengthy time period of courting/attending to entice close one yet another. in case you 2 ever prefer to make a journey at the same time, in basic terms pay out of your own debts for at present
