I agree. Nothing like a nice shiny b.s. news item to deflect the US intellect off truely important matters, such as crimes against humanity.

Well I like Reggie Bush , this is coming from an Ohio State fan ! but it is alot more than just his family receiving gifts , they have signed receipts from Reggie from Vegas from hotel rooms he did not pay for , also a car he drove around in his last year is in question and there are many other things that now they have rock solid proof of , and the sad thing about it is that if he lied about it what kind of character does that show , I played college ball and they go over these things with you all the time especially in the larger programs you know when something is a rule violation or not , If it is all true which it seems now that it is I don't feel sorry for him especially if he lied, he should get what he or the school deserves .

it's a big deal because now the rule infractions will apply to the university more than it will apply to Bush himself. Since these findings will strip him of his trophy and not affect his professional contract he'll probably get over it pretty quick. The university, however, could face fines and probation. I remeber years ago there was something with UNLV and the basketball program. They had a good chance of winning the NCAA tourney, but couldn't actually win because they were on probation. This behavior cheapens an athletic program because it boils down to who has the most money.

relatively Bush isn't good sufficient to take alot of contains. he's a velocity shrink lower back, now no longer a ability shrink lower back. He grew to alter into over-rated at USC simply by fact he grew to alter into straight away, yet L.White consistently had extra contains. people spoke of Reggies Highlights and function been like WOW. at the same time as Bush have been given right here to N.O. The Siants worked him and he had harm matters. So now Sean Peyton is working him a sprint so he can get shrink lower back to his previous self like he grew to alter into at USC, and than he could desire to however be the 2d shrink lower back, and could desire to get 10-15 contains, together because of the fact the quite a few RB gets lots of the load. If he can get in style, he's amazingly volatile, inspite of if he gets much less contains.

If he received the money, or anything for that matter, he is a professional athlete, waiving every single game that USC played last year, meaning they forfeit because reggie is greedy. USC will be ranked dead last for having a started that was a professional athlete.

1. It's against NCAA rules
2. It shows his family is a bunch of grifters
3. It displays his and his famile's total lack of morality.
4. It endangers the Heismann Trophy system.
5. It could cause a major scandal at his college.
(see how Oklahoma handled Brett Bomar for the proper way to do this)
Shall I go on?

It's because he was bought off. Sold to the highest bidder. The NCAA doesn't allow it. If it wasn't against the rules, the school with the deepest pockets & richest alumni would always rule the roost.

They gave him over 100,000 dollars. That's no small amount money, and they didn't really even try to hide it. Basically, it made Bush a professional athlete. If you think there is no problem with professional athletes in college, then fine.

yes, this is way stupid! whether or not the bush family received anything, it does not take away anything regarding reggie's talent or USC's dominating team.
if they want to pick on someone, how about notre dame. they have a known professional boxer and baseball pitcher playing for their football team...
just let 'em play football. that's what i say!

because it's big time illegal, that's why. SMU had their whole football program wiped out for several years because their players were being paid to play. this is different, but still similar.
