poetess Asma bint Marwan was critical of Muhammad. He could not tolerate criticism, particularly from writers. Poetry was the most widespread and respected form of artistic expression among the pagan (pre-Islamic) Arabs. Asma was to be Muhammad's FIRST victim.
Her words carried and made Muhammad very angry. For Asma bint Marwan, her poem was her death sentence. A follower of Muhammad, a hired killer, stabbed her so hard while she slept that, with his dagger, he nailed her to the couch.
Asma bint Marwan was not Muhammad's only literary victim.
Another poet, the centenarian Abu Afak, was similarly killed in his sleep.
Thus, Muhammad established Islam by spreading fear and violence.
Terrorism is a weapon that has its origins in these first struggling years of Islam. The day Asma bint Marwan was killed "was the day when Islam first showed its power over the local tribes and Asma's fellow tribesmen converted to Islam because of what they saw Muhammad was capable of."

Every religious teaching spouts hate and murder of some kind. The Talmud asks Jewish followers to kill all Gentiles because they are beasts of the earth. The Bible has some pretty sketchy quotations too. Guess it's fashionable now though to put down Islam. Congrats on becoming one of the sheeple.

Those who insulted the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) deserved whatever punished was meted out because they deserved it.
Everyone here in the UK always expresses surprise that we say we'll fight for the honor of the blessed, genius prophet.
As if we would fight for a crown or a queen?
Islam is the only true faith. Everyone in the UK doesn't know it but they were born Muslim. It is our job to come here and show them the error of their ways.
One day, England will embrace Islam and we will finally have peace here in this land.
Those who insult the one true faith must be punished so that we could live in peace, don't you understand?

also, as Islam spread across norther Africa, Cities that did not convert were raised as an example to neighboring cities, thus it spread quickly across Africa, and into Spain. Until the diligent people of europe fended off the muslim horde, and started the crusades to fight them back...
