No, I think you're right. I'm old enough to contrast today's medicine, civil rights, food and entertainment options, body of scientific knowledge, and general standard of living with years past, and it's amazing how much better all those things have gotten. Not perfect of course, but compare any of them with 40 years ago, and rejoice that you live in such an age of wonders!

Depends on what level.On a persoanl level life is pretty good for me.On a world level we could be headed for WWIII.People keep saying that the economy in the US is great and I say bullshit.Its great for the rich but not for the average joe.
