You can use the Windows Media Player (WMP) to play files of a certain types (notably: .mp3, .wav):
(1) Find the file folder where the downloaded songs are being stored, (probably a file titled "Shared"). Open the folder. Then, with the list of files open, either
(2)(a) Move the cursor over the file and "right click" Play or "right click" Add to Now Playing List
-or-
(2)(b) If WMP is your default player, double click (left mouse button) to play.

After bringing limewire to your screen you then click on media player.Left click on any song title you have on media player then still on that song right click and out comes another folder. On that folder click on "Open containing folder".When it opens you will notice that the songs you were downloading on limewire will all be pasted there.Right click on the song you want to be on media player and drag it to the bottom area of your screen where you have the media player folder and release your drag.If you do it correctly you will have your song on media player.Be patient and stay positive and you will enjoy.Good luck!

Open up your windows media player, go to tools on either the top left hand tool bar or top right hand small triangle depending on what media player you are using or what skin you are using, then go to options, then go to file types, then click on select all.
Might work.
