If you make your darkside bright, will your brightside become dark?
Isn't that how shadows work?

I guess everything cannot really be explained with words...

Yes, and every ones dark side is tied to Pluto. He handles what absolutely has to happen, process, birth, growth, and rebirth are all under his jurisdiction.Hades, the guy with the office in the basement rules Pluto.Hes in charge of the scary stuff, he loves black, hates the spotlight, and always works below the surface. Head of the department of death, decay, destruction, and other unavoidables. He disposes of situations that have gone past the point of no return, that absolutely must go.You can't fire Hades! If anything, by declassifying (dwarfing) a planet that does all its work behind the scenes, or hidden, we've just empowered him on his own terms.I believe our dark side is also tied to Chiron, it shows where our wounds are and we all hide in that dark place. We have a choice to wound others with our wound, or heal others with the knowledge. Dark side and bright side are like night and day they will always be. Shadows, not sure of the question, but I like to play with mine, sometimes. Yes, words do not describe (do justice) the best places, I've been.

I think instead of "darkside" it's better described by Billy Joel (of all people) as the "Stranger"...

Some other personality within all of us that we hide from each other, whether it be some kind of fetishism hidden from a lover, to being a closet drunk. It could even be that someone like Hitler really loved Christmas time or kittens.

Well if by making your darkside bright you mean eliminating the darkness, then depending on by how much you could surpass the 'brightness' of your bright side and in comparison it would then appear to be your dark side.
If you mean make your dark side more prevailent by making it 'brighter' or exhibiting it more, then that dark side of you could become a greater focus of your personality and you could lose touch with your bright side leading it to become 'darker' or less a part of your expressed self.

Theoretically, that's true, but the world doesn't work that way. Stop and think about it: Is good and evil balanced in the world today? Not even close. Evil is escalating at an alarming rate. People are surrendering to their dark sides, and even in religious circles, it's getting harder and harder to find people committed to allowing God to develop the good side of their nature.

Personally, I have never known anyone who was capable of changing their dark side to light no matter how hard they try. In my opinion, only God can accomplish that, but that's the topic of another discussion. . . :)

i don't think that shadows reach deep inner thoughts of humans. if u remove ur dark thoughts then u might have some open space to accept some good thoughts but u cannot turn the dark thoughts into bright ones.

Yes, there is always there, waiting to be freed. The worst enemy in life us our dark side.
Even a priest has a dark side.
And even when you think that you destroyed it, it's still there. When you get angry, you let just part of it go, unwillingly, when you're in a danger situation you have to use it, when you're depressed you can feel it building up inside you.

a dark heart- there is darkness within every heart- dont be afraid of the dark- this is the world in it's true form, behind the darkness- the prince of eternal darkness-something so natural-supreme darkness-this world has been connected, tied to the darkness... soon to be completely eclipsed, i know all that there is to know, all worlds begin in darkness and all so end, the heart is no different, darkness is the heart's true essence, every heart return to the darkness... become darkness itself. supreme darkness... u do not yet know what lies beyond the door. it is i, the seeker of all darkness, every light must fade... darkness conquers all worlds, u need the darkness! my shadow lingers. in the end every heart returns to the darkness whence it came.

but what is that???

Every heart is filled with light, but to find it u must first venture through the darknes... To find the light, find the darkness

...actually no, thats not necesarily how shadows work. and what do shadows have to do with your dark side and bright side?

luke 6:43
"no good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn bushes or grapes from briers. Good people bring good things from the good stored up in their hearts, and evil people bring evil things out of the evil stored up in their heart. For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks."

No, if your darkside becomes lighter, it would become a part of your light side which would be twice as light.

laws of nature would say that if your dark side would become bright, your bright side would become dark.

so, just imagine all the good you do for people, if that would suddenly become evil.

in the end, would the scales balance out?
