I would look for the website for your county's public records. Almost all of them are published on line now.

You are rite! I've never seen anyone ask this question before either, doesn't mean they haven't I just never came across it. But anways: If you go to google and type in: amw.com you'll get Americas Most Wanted website. And just browse around there through everything. I found out there are 30 pedafiles just in my town, and my town isn't very big at all!! But the only way you can get a list of their names and locations is if you subscribe to their website. Which is well worth the money. And this website is very secure so you don't have to worry about your credit card online. Not to mention there is a whole bunch of interesting things on this website and you can also have them send you weekly news letters and updates. I love this website! After you read my answer go to that website and take a look you'll be shocked by all the stories that are on there. Goog luck to you. And thanks for asking that question, no one can ever be to careful these days. Anytime my husband goes out of town he literally cringes of the thought of me wanting to stay home by my self. So, lets just say LOL he left me a little bit of protection. Good luck to you again. And I hope you find what you are looking for.

I assume you have to go to the local district attorney's office. When you say conviction rate, do you mean the numbers of actual convictions / numbers of arrests?

I don't know if this site is much help but maybe it'll get you started. Excellent question. Maybe if you searched the word PHEDOPHILES you might come up with more hits.

Good Luck!
