No, it is my understanding that while they may have both female and male external parts, hermaphrodites usually don't have all the necessary internal organs, or if they do they are not fully formed and/or functional.

Gonadal dysgenesis is a type of intersexuality formerly known as "True Hermaphroditism", occurs in about one percent of mammals (including humans), but it is extremely rare for both sets of sexual organs to be functional; usually neither set is functional. In many cases, these manifestations are altered, sometimes only cosmetically, to resemble standard male or female anatomy shortly after birth.

NO. I have never head of complete hermaphrodites. They are always lacking something. Besides in the case where one is born the parents usually make a decision on the sex of the child and go with that.based on which set is more complete. the female reproductive system or the male. The other remaining sexual organs are then removed.

It is not possible. Hermaphrodites cannot impregnate themselves because the hormones are not normal and conception will not occur even if they succeed in having sex. the only way is if their carry out surgical operations.

I agree with lyrical goddess. Both male and female organs or reproductive will not both be fully formed. One may be deformed just like being born with an extra toe or not a full arem. Or to go further like the little boy with his heart on the outside of his body of conjoined twins with 2 bodies and one head.

Why would they want to. They should be greatly in demand for threesomes. Oh wait, would that make it a foursome?
