It's my Birthday! And I'm planning on wearing this dress tonight...

I still need to buy shoes, but I don't know what to go with. I want something fun, not TOO crazy, and definitely dressy and sexy because you only get ONE DAY to be the birthday girl and have a right to stand out. Colors I'm thinking of are black (obviously), red, gold....what do you think? Any other tips on accessorizing, makeup, etc. are welcome too. Thanks so much!!

I'm wearing my gold Coach purse...I think gold shoes might over do it..but maybe black shoes and gold accessories?

Black pumps
or something like this would work well:

A pair of strappy heels is what you need, definitely.
Now, on the color thing. Either black or metallic gold.
Option 1: If you wear the gold Coach purse, along with gold accessories (earrings, necklace, bracelet and so forth), a black strappy heel will do the trick.
Option 2: If you wear the gold Coach purse, with subtle accessories (such as pearls or what have you), a pair of gold heels would look fab. By tying in the shoes with the bag, it'll bring the outfit together.
Just be sure not to overdo the metallic! Otherwise, you'll look like a great big disco ball.
As for make-up tips, dramatic eyes are the way to go. Make sure they're not TOO over the top, but still, you are the birthday girl; it's perfectly fine to attract attention to yourself! Volumous, curly lashes and sultry eyes would look divine. As for lips, possibly a sheer gloss. Just a little bronzer on your cheekbones, and voila! You'll be just lovely.
Have a fantastic time!

I would say something of a black stiletto heel 3"-4" or a nice strappy sandal of the same height. Maybe a nice anklet in gold if you have one and wear the pumps.
Great dress...and have a very Happy Birthday

What a cute dress! I would say black strappy heels. I wouldn't wear much in the jewelry department, as the top is ornate. Some simple diamond earrings and maybe a bracelet, but no necklace. Have a wonderful time, and Happy Birthday!!!

Black or black and silver would really jazz it up. Just make sure the shoes are fabric--NOT leather as leather is typically more for work/casual. Not party time.
And go for things that are slinky/sparkly/fun for accessories. That way, as you laugh, and talk, and move, the jewelry catches the light and sparkles. Have fun and happy birthday.

I would say pick a second color ( teal, red, lime anything) and get shoes that color and a few aceessories but dont overdo it..
Its a pretty dress ...Maybe some earrings and a necklace OR bracelet...The same solor as the shoes...
I usually get rinestone stuff from Claire's////
They have this pretty lime sparkly Rhinestone necklace and earring to match right now...Or most whatever color you want...

i think black or gold would be good. something strappy. red might be a little much. you should do red lips. that would stand out. maybe a little smoke on the eyes. not too much. i don't know what your hair cut is like so i can't say much about that.

I would totally accessorize in gold or bronze, from make up to shoes and purse...and everything between! You'll look great!
Happy Birthday!

I would suggest gold strappy sandals. If they have thin straps, the gold won't be too overpowering. However, if you've got good accessories with red in them, red shoes would look fabulous!
