Certainly. There are "survivalists" (people in camo clothes who live in remote areas, with 10 or 12 guns per person, and seriously believe that the government is a dangerous enemy - for example Timothy McVeigh, Ng and Lake, Randy Weaver); wierd religious cultists (Jim Jones, Warren Jeffs, David Koresh), "urban guerrillas" (Symbionese Liberation Army, any of a thousand street gangs) and on and on. Muslims just get the most press at the moment because they're the current fad, and the present administration needs someone "foreign" to demonize.
