i am creating a logo for a club that gears toward 30 year olds, i just need colors that works well with it. if you are 30 please lemme know the kinda color you like, or what colors you would like to see in a night club.

Blue for somber with gray and silver accents. low lighting with purple along the wall will create a great contrast. Ceiling - Black.

I'm not 30 (yet), but I'm old enough that I don't like the bright and neon colors in bars and clubs anymore. They are too harsh, not to mention unflattering on the skin :-)
Try deeper jewel tones, like sapphire, amethyst, garnet, ruby, topaz, etc... They are richer and more sophisticated colors.
You could also try the classic black and white with one thing in color, red is usually used because it stands out so vibrantly.
Another classic are the darker and fall colors, burgundy, navy, forest and/or hunter green, gold, amber, etc... They tend to give a casual but still mature feel.
You would be better off figuring the design, then adding color. Draw it in black and white, and see what looks good in your mind. Try it out on paper; you'll end up with several sheets, but it will give you a comparison.

I'm 31, and at homemaker by day, fashion stylist by night - seriously I work for a high priced retailer & get paid to dress to impress!
Blues (navy, sapphire, sky) with silver/grays are something I'm really looking at lately, and looking forward to. For excitement a splash of subtle red (or muted rose) Browns are earthy/neutral, go with greens/blues/reds, and can be changed up and around. Club stuff, at least needs the splash of red - for a bite!
