Why is it that there are so few racial minorities with a Team Lead position? Is the company only promoting a Token amount of racial diversity in its work force? The poster about having racial diversity in the conference room must be just for show then.

The only team members of colour (other employees) I've seen are still at the base level of employment, some of whom have been at it for several years.
While a lot of white kids seem to get the promotions - these kids don't have the business common sense to be suitable for management, yet they are getting the promotions anyway. Isn't that blatant discrimination?

yep i agree i used to work there for like a 3 years and this non color person came in wearing a mini skirt and long blond hair and she moved from cashier to assistant manager in like 3 months. after that incident i severed ties with that company. now I'm a real estate agent and I'm very satisfied.

Its possible especially depending on where you live. If you live in the southern states especially, you'll see alot of discrimination/racism

Or maybe the people that are picked to lead have to know how to do every job/task, have good communication skills (english), and looks pleasant.

Do you have any statistics, any proof at all, to back up your claim? I'd like to see them please.

How about instead of looking at a worker's skin color, you take the worker's ability to do the job into consideration? I always thought that was the way to do it. You don't just give someone a job because they're a minority. Grow up and don't be so racist.
