The spray paint will be used for marking areas for a movie, so needs to be biodegradeable for when the work is over.

Yes: don't bother. The purpose of paint is to protect a surface from the environment. A biodegradable paint obviously cannot do that.

good luck, but then again that defeats the purpose of paint. the paint is protecting metal etc. from the environment so if it degrades it's not gonna sell well.
