I have yet to review it, but it looks promising. It will be tough to cut into Apple's market share, but it is possible. I think the Zune has a lot of promise, and the competition is going to get even more fierce than it is today.

i would recommend buying it. i've seen many mp3's and most are basically the same. Zune has some kind of appeal to it, and I like the way that you can share music(at least for 3 days) and that you can sync it with your xbox. ipods have gotten boring, and now basically everyone has one. that's why i want to stand out more with a zune. people have seen ipod, but not a zune. so buying a zune would be great. just keep in mind that the 1st product a company comes out with is not always the best. it will take some years to perfect the zune, only if people give enough demand for it.
