After moving a fridge and it being laid on its side, how long do you need to wait before you use it?

Actually, you need to allow the refrigerant a chance to equalize in the compressor before you plug it in. I would wait 3 hours after it is upright. If you turn it on immediately, you may damage the compressor. Remember, the compressor is under constant pressure when running.

If the fridge has remained upright the whole time, you can plug it in immediately. It it has lain on it side for any length of time, you will have to put it upright and allow it a few hours until the coolant gets into the pump - otherwise you will damage the pump.

I plugged in my variety new refrigerator months upon getting it notwithstanding it wasnt laying flat on the floor it grew to become into kinda tilting from section to section and it have been given warm after 30mins n then I plugged it out havent plugged it in lower back on condition that should I be worried

It takes 24 hours to bring the temperature down to 38-40 degrees.

Plug it in right away. It may take a while for the coolant to settle and start working right. Think lava lamp. Don't lay it down unless necessary.

Unless you laid the frige flat on its coils,plug it in...what's the hold up?Refrigerators are alot tougher than they used to be.

You don't need to wait, but it might be a good opportunity to give it a thorough cleaning before plugging it in.
