This topic has been beaten to death, and I wish it would stay dead. Twelve people have been on the moon, and the retro-reflectors that they left there are used to this day to measure the distance to the moon (which is, incidentally, increasing at about an inch a year due to tidal friction on earth).

Yes. IT HAS BEEN BEATEN TO DEATH AND IT IS SICKENING TO SEE ONE LOSER AFTER ANOTHER SOUND ANOTHER CONSPIRACY THEORY ON THIS.
All we ever hear about are hashmarks on photos, flags moving and not moving, etc...You want proof that we landed on the moon, well, here it is.
So lets start with the fact that the United States and the Soviet Union were in a race to the moon. If there was any evidence that the moon landing was faked then the Russians would have been screaming and putting the evidence forth. It would have been the coup of a lifetime for them. And the Russians did nothing but congratulate the United States on the accomplishment.
Remember how the Soviet Union put Francis Gary Powers on trial for the U-2 incident in the late 1950'2. If there was a conspiracy, the Russians would have found out about it and make a show trial out of the evidence.
And what did they do in fact, NOTHING!!!
Of course, the conspiracy buff will say that the Soviet Union really found out about the conspiracy and we paid them off to keep them quiet. As if Brezhnev would have kept his mouth shut over such a find.
So, to all the conspiracy buffs, go back to watching reruns of the X-Files and leave this post once and for all.

sure, guy rather did landed on Moon. there replaced right into a 2nd attitude. And a 0.33, which failed. And a fourth, 5th, 6th, and seventh, which landed. We no longer have bypass to Moon because 1972 because of the fact there no longer have been plenty reason to. We stopped going because of the fact the standard public have been given bored with seeing yet yet another couple adult adult males working around on the Moon, so the funds replaced into cut back very heavily. NASA did no longer build the kit we used to bypass to the Moon--that replaced into executed by using contractors, who threw away the plans and retooled the kit after the lunar landings. So now NASA has to opposite-engineer the old stuff or build new issues from scratch. it rather is performing a number of the two now for the Constellation software.

Someone once calculated that it took roughly 400,000 people to engineer all the parts and all the other tasks required to land on the moon. It would be impossible to have that many people in on the scam. Also, the weightlessness exhibited by the moonwalkers with the lighter gravity would've been extremely difficult to simulate on a hollywood set.
We can only roll our eyes at all the conspiracy theorists and wonder why FDR bombed pearl harbor, why aliens crashed at Roswell, why the Mafia took out JFK and why Bush took out the WTC.....

First, the flag wasn't waving. If you look at the video of the flag you will see that it was a stiff metalic almost aluminum object. If they put a regular flag out there it would have flopped down and would have been un-noticable. This is why they put an erect flag out there. That rumor was created by paranoid conspiracists that have nothing better to do. Every conspiracy theory regarding the landing on the moon has a valid explanation to it and if people weren't so close minded they would be able to make sense to them. It is just that people want to believe in conspiracies because it is exciting.

the retro-reflectors used today, are proof that man was on the moon, there's no conspiracy, as there was a genuine race for the moon, would anyone risk their lives in a rocket for no reason? I don't think so.

Yes, men landed on the Moon. The astronauts who risked life and limb to go out there are living proof of the truth of their mission.
Man has been there, and we are going back there within your lifetime, to stay. There's no conspiracy.

*heavy sigh* Why do the gullible morons insist on asking this inane question ad nauseum?
http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html
There's all the proof you need, including a refutation of the flag waving BS that ignorant noobs just can't seem to comprehend. Of course, if you want to believe the hoax, even a real astronomer debunking the whole thing isn't going to change a closed mind.
Note: I'm a member of the conspiracy to cover up the hoax...I'm required by law to say these things. LOL

Yes, we landed on the Moon. If nothing else, consider this: the Soviet Union and several other countries around the world were also tracking our Apollo missions. There is NO WAY that they would let the USA perpetuate a hoax of that magnitude if it did not happen.
