put a password on quite a while ago, realised recently that norton was the reason i couldnt use msn!

but now i cant change the settings becasue ive forgotton the pasword!

please help its a pain

Look in the help file as it tells you how to change the password. Its also a pain in the bum and thats why i got rid of it.

If your using windows XP home or professional all you need to do is select it from the Add or Remove section of windows and it will present you with 3 options, modify reset or remove. then the rest is plan sailing from there.

insert the norton disc and it should delete it for you. if not go to the norton web site and seek help there

use the disc to uninstall it.
