I want the tattoo to be meaningful, and somehow represent strength. If not strength, just something I can possibly add to to mean strength. Also, if anyone just knows of any good websites, that would be helpful, or good tattoo places in the delco/philadelphia area. thanks!

theonly ideas i have right now are really themes, like possibly something representing strength, or something irish, or something having to do with the sea/water but still being feminine and a real piece of art.

im not sure if im actually getting the tattoo, its only if i can find something meaningful, and for all the people who keep answering about it being a trash stamp, i dont care that it has that reputation and i dont want it there because its popular, i want it their because if practical and only seen when I want it to be seen, its for myself and no one else so stop giving answers that insult me and my way of thinking. I asked for ideas for the tattoo, not your opinion on whether or not i should get it or if the lower back is appropriate.

then look up similar images with a google image search to refine what you think you would like... you know, make it original. Print off your favorites or the pics you would like to put together and take them to a good tattoo artist... they can usually customize the work if they have a detailed idea of what you want!
Keep in mind that they will fade with time and they do look a bit different on skin. Again, your tattoo artist should be able to help with color and durability.

When it comes to tattoos, you it's always a good idea to get something that has meaning to you, and that represents an important time or event in your life. Otherwise you will regret getting it in a few years...trust me! Don't just pick something off the wall of a tattoo shop - why would you want something that loads of other girls already have?? If you really just want something pretty, start looking through art books and magazines for designs that you can change and make your own. Or ask one of the artists at the shop to draw something for you.

How can it be meaning full when ...
a.) every other girl has one right where yours is
b.) it can really just be seen by the guy holding your hips doing you doggy
c.) same guy above is about to kum all over it
d.) rethink this idea...it doesn't make your more attractive or add to you in any way....you are part of a trend...it's not original at all....it doesn't make you unique....it's not artsy....think about when your forty and that tattoo is twice the size!!
PS: But if you have to get one how's about an arrow pointing to your ****** that says one-way!!

I have them in two of those places. Go for the shoulder, it is the easiest to hide if you have to. I like that one the best. If I could erase the one on my lower back, I would. Shoulder will be cute with that tattoo (virgo). good luck. Dont get a rose. If you decide to go with the wrist, it should not affect your veins at all, unless the artist sucks. It will hurt, but it wont hurt your permanently.

Just go to the tattoo shop and start looking on the walls. There is sure to be something that you like. I have a dolphin on my lower back. It is one that a friend designed for me.

You realize it leads other to make certain assumptions regarding your demographics and your preferred sexual positions?
