I'm a Xbox fan but I like the idea of the Wii controller. It's going to make games more active. It's not the only controller for the system though, they will have an additional controller setup more like the SNES controller with more buttons. They know they're losing the console wars so they have to try something different.

I can play games with anything! The Wii remote is a new element to the traditional two-handed controller. You also use your whole body for the games. I don't hate it, you do. Go be with some one who has an Xbox 360 or is getting a PS3.

I think you have a controller in each hand actually. not sure though thought i saw a picture of it that way. I think its very creative and a good idea cause there is no way nintendo will catch up graphically now. Im a big fan of a lot of games only nintendo carries though so i hope they have success with the wii.

I think that it is a new and diffrent kind of way to play. A true gamer would at least give it a chance. If the price goes down, I want to try the Legend of Zelda game with that controller. I think Nintendo always comes out with new ways to play. But it is the games that count. Sure maybe I would feel stupid flinging my arm around but I will try it.

Well if you ask me its a risk, but a stupid one cause games haven't been that way since maybe the 80's with the big stick controllers and a lil red button on it. Maybe they are thinking something we may not be, but I don't know it could be something good, lets wait and see.

Wait for 3rd party companies to start making stuff for it, no doubt that Mad Catz is gona make some, and there are a lot of companies out there that make controllers...I wouldn't worry about it, I bet someone will make a classic controller (you know, NES style!)

I am concerned about that. I mean, I've seen people use it like a samurai sword, but it lacks a kind of forcefulness you get with controllers
