I mean, if you either go to heaven or hell, with so many people on earth, won't they be crowded? Also, the Chinese believe in 18 levels of hell with different levels of suffering at each level. If one feels pain because of nerves, how can one feel pain if one dies and becomes a spirit?

In an essay I read years ago by Isaac Asimov, he estimated that some 100 billion human beings have walked the face of the earth throughout human history (existence.) In a recent post here an Yahoo! Answers, someone cited a website where the current estimate was about 106 billion. The current world population is estimated at 6.5 billion.

Can the infinite heavens and infinite hell handle that load? I suppose anything is possible in science fiction and fairy tales.

What's the difference? It is already crowded around here. I am yet to know the level number I am going to, but I already feel so much pain around every other day that I don't think it will make much difference. But on the brighter side, if I go to heaven and if the services are as good as they say then that's cool.

I'm a christian, and I'll tell you that if you believe in heaven in the first place that means that you believe in a higher power, who has the ability to make everything possible, there has been more people in this universe that we can count, but remember that if this universe that we live in is infinite than something as majestic and grand as heaven probably is also. I think anyways that heaven is dimensional, or some other level that we ascend to where the unecessary pain and headaches that we experience in our everyday lives is non-existant.

First of all there will be a bodily resurection. That means your body and soul will be reunited some time after you die. So your body and spirit will be in Heaven or Hell. When you die, you will give an account for your life before God, in Spirit. If you have trusted Christ Jesus, you won`t experience the pain and suffering in damnation, but the joy of God. Also God will judge righteously every one according to his works on Earth. There are different levels of punishment depending on how you lived your life, God is a just God. God bless. Give your life to Christ.

If either existed, I would expect hell to be far more crowded.

everyone is either going six feet under or getting cremated, nothing else. Soul is nothing but feelings and emotions which are the creation of human brain. brain dies, everything dies. thats it game over.

Prince 47 is right. There is no REAL place called heaven or hell. It's all fantasy. When you are dead, you're dead! Nothing.
