Chemically, a natual diamond and a lab-created one are identical. I would expect that there would be less flaws, or maybe no flaws (?) in a lab-created one. Naturally occurring ones have "flaws" and inclusions. The better ones cannot be seen with the naked eye. I say it's personal preference as to what kind you prefer. If you want more information, I'd suggest you go to a reputable jeweler and ask for the crash course on diamonds. That's what I did and they were more than happy to educate me.

Diamonds are like gold, they are valuable as commodities. They will never dimisish in value. If you are not looking for an investment, then a cubic zirconia will do just fine. But there are ways to tell a real diamond from a fake one. With a diamond, it's the cut that also adds to the value of the stone. Hope this helps. If you want more detail, do ask an expert.

nicely, the adaptation is that once you purchase something in a Jewerly save, you would possibly want to be sure that some earring, for instance, are extra low-value than others that are intense priced even as they have diamonds. it fairly is too, once you study them, you will see that a bright gentle popping out of the diamond even as a mild hits it or if a flash of a digital camera hits it. actual diamonds are intense priced too than those that are not actual. desire this facilitates!!!

Hardness.
Diamonds are forever.
The rest are soft like glass and get scratched up and the corners wear off.
Diamonds reflect light and all colors to the top.
Fakes have silicone in them and collect dust easily and need to be cleaned more often. Get dull looking with time.

They have recently learned how to artificially produce real diamonds. They are so identical, it takes an atomic microscope to tell the difference. Two companies are producing them, one for jewelry and the other for future electronic use, mainly computers.
