i have a friend (boy) who is having a house party and said i could bring some one so i invited my other friend (girl), now he has said he doesn't want my guest to go because he doesn't know her very well but he does. Also now she has sed she doesn't want to go when i am supposed to be sleeping at her house that night so i can go because my mum won't let me go otherwise. What should i do?

I think you should be open and explain the situation to your male friend who is having the party. Let him know you will only be able to go is she goes as you need a place to stay. Also get him to invite her, because she might have said she doesn't want to go because she feels rejected. If he says she still can't come, then he isn't being a very good friend to you and you should go off and have fun with your other mate.

You should not go to the party......why would you want to be friends with a boy who is as rude as to issue an invitation and then put you in the awkward postition of having to withdraw it? Go out with your friend somewhere else, have a great time, stay at her house and recognise who is a real friend and who isn't!

if the cost is a relationship - the cost is too high
