When did you know....?

That your spouse was "the one" ? How did you feel about it when you finally figured it out?

I knew about 1 wk after I met him. Honestly I saw him and my whole being sighed and I thought wow I finally found my missing half. It was kinda like coming home after being gone for a long time.

We suspected after several weeks of dating. We did not want to admit it as we both loved dating. We met in a night club for heavens sake. Neither of us were even looking. But the level of comfort we had with each other was amazing. There were arguments but over silly things. The major things we always agreed on! We decided to live together for awhile before discussing marriage any more than we had. We lived together for a little over a year. We have now been married 15 years. I think you know when that person comes along but you have to be able to distinguish between knowing they are the one and wanting them to be the one.

It's rather hard to explain - you just 'know'. Our first dates were focused strictly on talking and getting to know each other. We would go on long drives, walks, etc. and just talk for hours. We found out quickly that we could just be ourselves - so there was no pressure. We just let things take their course naturally, and everything just fell into place. After 15 years of marriage, and three kids, my husband and I can still look into each others eyes and just smile without having to say a word. We show affection openly and frequently. Our kids are growing up in a home where they know that their parents are deeply in love and devoted to one another. It is not always perfect - but it is as close to perfect on this Earth as you can get.

Well for me it was really hard at first because of my parents not letting me date him i was 20 and they wanted to choose me the men and i didn't like this. Well he never left me even though i had problems and everything he never left me he told me he was never going to live me and that he wanted to marry me i was scared but in your heart you now it tells you and god gives you the help you need to not go thought this alone so yeah i new he was the men i wanted to spend the rest of my life with so i did and now i am very very happy. If u are not sure pray about it maybe he is the one maybe not i hope everything works out for you.

When you heart smiles every time you think about that person, when they leave and you want them to come back, even if they just went to the store....When you get into an argument and you can't stay mad at each other for more than 5 minutes, when you look at them and you couldn't even imagine you rl;ife without them. That is how I knew that i wanted my love, my life forever.....you feel it in your heart, good luck!!!

actually i don't even know if my bf (who is my hubby now) is the one at that moment. 5 years together.... separated countless but at the end we came back together. we juz can't find someone else who is better or the same so in the end, we realised that its better for us to be married and now i'm happily married with 2 boys (eventhough at times there are ups and downs in married life).
