I think u are right in all three of those area's because:
1 - if u don't have respect for Ur other half weather it has to do with religion or what they believe in it will because they wont communicate with u. They will be angry at u.
2 - Need communication because if u want talk, one wont know if your loved one is happy or sad from work, lost a friend or loved one. or even if both of u get in a fight. Won't even know if it us your time to pick up the kids providing u have any or want any.
3 - Need love because there is chemistry between people that just clicks. With out that ur hug, kisses, even s e x may not feel right. sure it will feel gratifying, but their will be something missing when doing things.

Love, Trust, and Communication are what I think are the three most important things in a relationship. You have to love the person to be with them. You have to trust the person you're with and it will help both people open up to each other. Communicating with each other helps solve problems and lets each other know about what is going on.

yeah yeah respect and communication are good too but it helps if you trust the person who is communicating with you.
and you cant respect someone you dont trust
And well ....love is kind of a given isnt it, thats why you are in the relationship to begin with yes?
so definately TRUST I know its not 3 like you asked for but this one is the root of it all.
